Terms and Conditions - Enduro Portugal
Enduro Portugal (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) accepts clients for off-road riding holidays subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. A non-refundable deposit of 25% must be made at the time of booking, the balance payable before the tour begins – the Company will send and invoice to let you know when it’s due. If the client has to cancel, for whatever reason, refunds will be paid as follows:
If cancelled 7-8 weeks before tour start date – 50% refund.
4-6 weeks before tour start date – 40% refund.
2-4 weeks before tour start date – 25% refund.
Less than 2 weeks before tour start date – no refund.
2. The client agrees to pay for all damage and losses to the company bike or riding gear caused by the client. Any damages will be charged at ‘trade’ price, and there will be no labour charge for fitting parts. Minor bodywork damage (ie scratches) will not be charged for, nor will punctures. No damage deposit is required.
3. The client must hold a full, current motorcycle licence, and must tell the company of any endorsements, convictions or accidents.
4. The licence (both parts, if of the photo type) must be produced on arrival, along with the client’s passport.
5. The Company reserves the right to cancel a tour without notice. In that event, the client will receive a full refund of all payments received.
6. The Company will provide insurance cover for on- and off-road riding in Portugal, which includes airlift where necessary, and state hospital treatment in Portugal. This does not include repatriation to the UK, and the client is responsible for his/her own personal insurance to cover this.
7. The client will travel at their own risk and neither the Company, its agents, or any other person assisting them, is liable for any personal loss, injury, accident, damage, delay or inconvenience whether caused by acts of the Company, its agents or events outside the Company’s control (e.g. strikes, civil war, mechanical breakdown, weather etc.)
8. The Company cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to a client’s property (including vehicle) whether owned, on hire or on loan to the client.
9. The client may be required to leave the tour before its end, if a Company representative considers that the client’s presence is considered detrimental to the safety of the tour of anyone participating in the tour. The client may also leave the tour voluntarily before it finishes. In either case, any liability the Company may have towards that client will immediately cease. The Company will have no responsibility to pay for repatriation or any other expense incurred by the client as a result of leaving the tour early. No refund will be given.
10. The client accepts that the motorcycle trail riding is a dangerous activity and that accidents may occur. Enduro Portugal cannot be held responsible for any injury or loss while riding.
11. The client agrees to respect the laws and customs of Portugal, especially with regard to drugs, immigration, health, exchange controls and any other issue.
